Founder & CEO
Conor Bracken is the founder and CEO of Andovar. He is recognized within the localization industry as a pioneer in the separation of production centers and client-facing services.
Originally from Dublin, Ireland, Conor held a diverse range of technical and management positions worldwide before deciding to build a company that would take advantage of the new possibilities of global cooperation afforded by the Internet and emerging multimedia technologies. Conor is a founder of the Irish-Thai Chamber of Commerce and is fluent in English and Thai.
Digital Media Director
David has over 15 years of experience in the field of audio production with nearly 10 years dedicated to audio/video localization. He has worked on diverse film and television projects for the BBC and has recorded thousands of hours of voice-over in multiple languages.
David began his career in localization at Transware (now part of Welocalize) in Dublin, Ireland as a Project Manager. In 2002, he moved to Thailand and began working for EQHO as Audio Localization Manager, responsible for the launch of their audio department and studio, staff training and development of best practices. David brought his experience and vision to Andovar in 2007, building state-of-the art studios and video production facilities, as well as developing cutting-edge A/V and rich media localization workflows. David is fluent in English and Thai.
Chief Technology Officer
Daniel Cooper’s interest in IT was sparked in 1988 when his father gave him a refurbished VIC 20. Since then he has built a career that has lead him to work in large enterprises, including Unisys, Tenix Defence Systems and the United Nations, as well as smaller technology firms and web development shops. Daniel started as a web developer upon gaining his BSc in 1988, before such a title was a recognized profession. Since then he has risen to lead development teams in his native Australia, Thailand and Malaysia, while keeping abreast of breaking online and enterprise technologies.
Since settling in Thailand, Daniel has held the position of Managing Editor for the country’s best-selling English magazine and Senior Operations Manager for a nationwide IT services provider.
Vice President, Global Sales
Russell joined Andovar as the APAC Business Development Manager soon after the company’s founding in 2007. During that time he has been a driving force in sales growth, which led to a promotion to VP, Global Sales. In addition to developing new business, Russell’s role includes overseeing global sales activities, strengthening relations with existing and prospective clients as well as training of new Business Development staff.
Russell has gained more than 15 years’ experience in customer-facing roles, and has worked in Account Management and Sales Development for companies such as Spring Group (IT recruitment) and Computacenter PLC (IT infrastructure services). Russell holds a BA (Hons.) in Tourism Management from Leeds Metropolitan University, England and has lived in Bangkok since 2003.
Vice President, Marketing
Jacob Stempniewicz has built a sales and marketing career in a unique mix of consultative industries – including international education, medical tourism, and online travel – and uses his unique set of experiences to help clients optimize their approach to language and localization.
Jacob speaks Polish, English and Spanish fluently and continues to work on his Thai language skills. He holds an M.A. in Organizational Psychology, as well as an undergraduate degree in General Psychology, both from University of Gdańsk (Poland). Jacob has an especially strong interest in localization of multimedia, gaming and eLearning.
Head of Localization Engineering
Kanpitcha gained her BSc in Computer Science in 2001 and then worked as a Systems Developer for 4 years. In 2005, she began her career in localization and joined Andovar in early 2013 as Localization Engineer. She has a positive, pleasant and can-do attitude to learning new things. Her strong leadership skills were quickly recognized at Andovar and she was elevated to Head of Localization Engineering.
General Manager – Colombia
Santiago Lopez is the General Manager of Andovar’s Colombia office and is charged with marshaling Andovar’s internal resources for the successful execution of projects, which typically involve multiple languages and localization disciplines. Prior to joining Andovar, Santiago worked at Verizon Telecom in the United States and managed corporate accounts for the entire country. He has proven to be a strong, multicultural manager with a vision that enables constant international process improvements. Santiago is an International Business graduate from Lindenwood University in St. Charles, MO where he was also a college athlete. Santiago is fluent in English and Spanish.
General Manager – India
Shatyaki provides leadership to Andovar’s Kolkata (India) operations as General Manager. She is responsible for achieving operational objectives by contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; identifying trends; determining system improvements and implementing change.
She holds an MBA degree in International Business with a silver medal in academics from Amity International Business School. She has close to 6 years of experience in client servicing with publishing, prepress and eLearning industries. Prior to Andovar, she worked with Aptara as Business Analyst as part of their International business development team.
Client Services Director
As Client Services Director of Andovar, Julien oversees all day-to-day aspects of customer retention, communications, quoting and post-sale support. Julien joined Andovar in 2013 as Business Development Manager prior to his current position. Before joining Andovar, Julien worked in the Development and Advertising field.
Julien speaks French, English and Dutch fluently. He holds an M.A. in Political Communication, as well as an undergraduate degree in Mass Communication, both from the European Communication School (Brussels).
