Andovar (Thailand) Limited is seeking to hire a full-time localization engineer to work at our rapidly expanding production office on Sukhumvit Soi 49, working in a casual but professional work environment.
This position is an opportunity for real career development, and we offer cross training into other technical areas. Salary is competitive within Thailand and ranges depending on experience. In addition, Andovar uses a bonus system based on profit-sharing.
Job description:
- Provide support to the Project Managers
- Analysis of word counts in incoming files from clients
- Converting files from one format to another
- Testing and bug fixing
- Compiling Help systems
- Some Network support
Requirements:
- Graduate, majoring in Information Technology
- Thai national, male or female, 22 – 32 years old
- Good level of spoken and written English
- Knowledge of IT systems, HTML, XML, coding, PHP and Javascript
- Positive, “can do” attitude
- Experience in localization industry and knowledge of SDLX, Trados, Flash and DTP applications is an advantage
